GENERAL TERMS

1. Safety and Responsibility: 

At West Texas Dog Trainer, our priority is to establish a secure environment for dog training and boarding care. We commit to providing reliable and responsible training, care, and post-boarding guidance. While we strive for predictability, clients understand that animals can exhibit unpredictable behaviors. Therefore, West Texas Dog Trainer cannot be held accountable for actions beyond a dog's control. Recommendations of products or services by West Texas Dog Trainer do not imply guaranteed performance or client satisfaction.

2. Indemnification: 

West Texas Dog Trainer undertakes to indemnify and absolve clients from any claims of injury, expenses, loss, or damages resulting from gross negligence or intentional misconduct while the dog is solely under our care. Clients acknowledge that West Texas Dog Trainer cannot control the dog outside of its custody and agree to indemnify West Texas Dog Trainer from any claims arising from the dog's actions in such instances.

3. Acknowledgment of Risks: 

Clients recognize the inherent risks associated with owning any animal, including the potential for dog bites.

4. Training Techniques: 

Clients consent to the use of various tools and techniques for training and behavior modification, including but not limited to Prong Collar, Bark Collar, Remote Training Collar, Slip Lead, Pet Corrector, Muzzles, Flat Buckle Collar, and Martingale Collar.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION

1. Payment Policy:

To reserve a spot, a deposit is required, with the remaining balance payable upon dropping off the dog.

2. Cancellation Policy:

A full deposit refund is available if canceled within 21 days of the scheduled drop-off. A 50% refund is applicable if canceled within 14 days of the scheduled drop-off. Cancellations made less than 8 days prior to the scheduled drop-off date will not receive a refund.

3. Travel Expense:

Clients residing more than a 20-mile radius away will incur a $3/mile service fee for "Send-Home" lessons conducted at their residence, payable on the day of service.

PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE

I hereby authorize West Texas Dog Trainer to utilize photographs, films, videotapes, audio and video recordings, electronic representations, and/or sound recordings of myself and/or my dog(s) taken during the training and/or boarding period. I release West Texas Dog Trainer from any liability arising from the use, reproduction, distribution, and publication of such media. I grant West Texas Dog Trainer the rights to reproduce, sell, distribute, copyright, exhibit, broadcast, and/or electronically store the aforementioned materials without limitation at their discretion, waiving any right to compensation.
